Here is a clean sample.

this sounds pretty clean to me…….

Yeah, all you need to do is put the gain at 1 and your absolutely fine.

Thanks for this line

I will sleep better tonight fo sure.

:D

This is my opinion and differences I hear between the stealth and the older 100 watt head..
The green channel, I prefer the old 100 watt head better it just cleaner more useable range..
The blue channel..way better on the stealth..more gain probably to much ,but more present sounding like a old plexi cranked.. The old 100 watt didn't have quite enough gain, found it to warm and fat to duplicate a plexi type tone.overall just blah..
The red channel,I found the old 100 watt head to be kind of nasal sounding like the old peavey 5150 II.you can hear this on the VH your in 07 and 08, even the videos on YouTube has it..the revision is much better on the stealth,no longer nasal to me and brighter and more present sounding yet with better mids.. The best example is to listen to VH on tour in 2012 and 13, that is the tone of channel 3..

I love the stealth amp

I just have one question, wasn't the stealth supposed to be a limited edition type thing? I notice all the major retailers have them now.

hey guys, Mine arrived today , i think im the first one in the uk to own one, I still have the regular 100 watter and have played them side by side for the last few hours.

My personal findings are that the new 100s is a lot more clearer and articulate as well as the extra gain, it seems to sing more, you can still get a great clean out of the green channel as well, im not using super hot pickups in my les paul or my gretsch. The 100s is definitely brighter sounding but that can be tamed if desired.

The blue channel as others have mentioned is one of the best crunch channels out there

The red channel is definitely clearer and i would imagine this is definitely going to cut in thru in a live mix better. Ive been using the 5150 iii for over 3 years now and imho are one of the best production amps out there and ive been through the lot!

To me this amp is great and is a keeper.
Between this and the be100 i have all bases covered!
Rockinchippy you are no good for my bank balance with your vids!

Not exactly. Here is the exact quote.

We will take orders beginning Sept 9th..and close the window on October 18th- and that is ALL we will build this year.

Yeah they are now listed on MF for an arrival date of 6/30/14 so you can bet more batches are being made.

Too much gain.

I`m running my gain at 10:30 O`clock on my original 5153, tone is crushing, where playing parkway drive and killswitch covers.

anybody know if they're going to make this a regular production run? Cuz they fukin should!

Just picked one of these up, the fucker rocks!!! Channel two is fantastic and I like 3 too.

yo Stealth bruthas...here's what I learned from NAMM 2015..

there were 175 100S's issued in 2013...of which most of ours were included.

Fender EVH is issuing another 250 in 2015.

I spoke (scolded) Matt Brown, the new Chris Cannela (he's now with ESP), who revealed this to me at the Show.
Evidently there was an SAP "glitch" within the Fender EVH system that did not limit the inventory when 100S 's were sold, wherein retailers kept "selling" them in 2013 - hence the 75 "over" the 100 stated limit.

So they're going to issue another 250 and then that's it.

All those clips are badass I just bought the 2014 50watt micro. I never followed the progression of revisions made. Mine did not come with manual. Anyone know the stock tube layout is in this 50 watter?
