I'd keep the MX. Obviously you are a Metallica fan like me. That shape is "THE" Hetfield. He plays other shaped guitars but we all know that the hunched over the microphone, dressed all in black, etc. is that first guitar.

Personally I'm not keen on the Iron Cross guitar, yet I have two Les Paul-style ESP guitars myself (my only two).
