What are your thoughts so far?
The mod retains a lot of vintage character of the amp both in voicing and gain structure. Donor was a 1970 Super Trem 100w superlead. Its got a lot of meat to the tone and is very raw-organic-open with tons of vintage warmth but very aggressive with impressive clarity. Tight but not too tight and growls a lot in the mid to low mids and has tons of kerang-snarl-bark in the upper mids. Very fun to play with that alive-addictive-can't stop playing feel under the fingers, very connected feeling.

Sounds incredible straight in, but takes boosts incredibly well. For some reason it really really likes the Wizard Leopard. That pedal is very transparent and doesn't really alter the amps core tone or gain structure if you keep output and gain low on the pedal and it just adds some more "juice-grease" and a bit of attack and compression.

Overall, very unique amp and when you get the volume up its hard to stop playing it. Just a vicious, guttural sound with the right amount of everything.

I'm stoked you like it!

Yeah, that's a good way of describing it. :)

Two more weeks on this amp exclusively...this amp is really really fucking good. Balls out ripper that is so natural and warm sounding but oh so aggressive with a feel and gain structure that begs you to pound out raunchy ass thrash and filthy fucking old school death metal riffage. Incredible range of tones for such a basic feature set...the eq section and added NFB/Depth allow insane tweakability.
