If really like to hear what everyone does and hopefully sometime soon, post up some music I've been working on. We were all somewhat harsh to each other back in the HCAF days, but there was always a sense of community back then, and that's one reason why I decided to finally start posting over here...I recognized some of the usernames.
Steve, I think your original comments were very constructive and were your honest opinions. No need to defend yourself. They're your comments and opinions. No problem.
To the OP, I'd be great to hear what you posted up. I didn't get to check it out, but based on the comments, it sounds like it has some killer playing. Hopefully the words of encouragement spur you on, and I hope and negative comments spur you on too.
Go to sound cloud, if you subscribe, and search for Major Michael. Guys a really proficient and technical player....each of his ( what I call) sketches is a little different texturally. Some of it, to me, just "gets on me" (number 7 was pretty good), while other pieces and parts are the musical equivalent of having someone read a random page out of Merrian Webster. The words are there, but the story just isn't resounding.
Pride got in his way of this being an awesome resource and learning tool for him, IMHO.
I'm still....![]()
Hey, thanks man! I'll definitely check it out! Thanks for the advice!!! Much appreciated!
