That schematic is pretty different from a '68 Plexi, no? I have a 1959SLP (non-HW) that's already been modded. But I'd sort of like to "re-mod" it to that schematic.

Yeah, it's a little different from a stock '68 Plexi circuit.

This schematic I made has been my go - to for years now, I think you'd really like it in your 1959 SLP.

I built a '69 100w Plexi clone, which I am in love with. I dropped my 1959SLP off today to have it returned to stock, but with a MV. If it doesn't blow me away, I'll tinker with your schematic. I kind of want it as a backup to my '69 clone, which is my main gigging amp now.

Just the PPIMV in a stock Plexi will not do it. You'll need to follow my schematic to make the amp into a monster sounding Plexi.

Let me know how things go, I hope it all works out with your amp.
You never know, it may not be your backup anymore once your done modding it. :)

Sounds kiler!

I notice you have a wizard amp there too - VC?

How does the wizard compare to your post-modded amps?

Thank you!!

The amp off to the side is not actually a Wizard amp, it's a build that someone made called a Mini Major. It was just sent to me for mods with that logo on the front. I'm not sure why that logo's on there though. :)
However, I do have a Wizard coming for mods soon so I'll let you know when I get it.

Here's a clip of the Mini Major with my mods in it, it turned out pretty. :)

Damn dude , I`ve told ya before I`ll tell ya again love the tone you get from your mods and killer playing . It`s the tone I want but I`ll have to settle with my own sloppy playing LOL

A customer brought over this really nice JTM45 build for my R/T mod.
I'm happy with the way the mods turned out on this little monster.

Excellent. I guess I don't need to track down a Major to send to you after all. Apparently, any Marshall amp will do. :)

Major, Super Lead, JTM... they all sound awesome!! The tone is just killer every single time on every single amp.

Thank you my friend.

I find the Major is a little harder to mod then the rest but I'm definitely getting great results with all the different vintage type Marshall amps. This JTM45 is beautiful, I'm going to have a hard time returning it to the customer. :)

I wish I could keep the amp but have to give it back to the customer. I had to make another sound clip of this little beast before it's gone. :)

Here's the Jem and SH-4 bridge.

Hi Michael.... you think this mods or a variation of this mods can be done to a Marshall JMP 2203 or JMP 2204?

Yip, I'm actually modding a '76 JMP Marshall 2203 right now for a customer. I'll post a sound clip of it when it's done. I'm just waiting on parts to finish it.
Regardless, it will sound like the amps in this thread when I'm done with it. :)
