I liked the last two the best, but all sounded great.

Thank you for watching and commenting, I greatly appreciate the feedback.

The last two is the '68 Marshall Plexi 100w Super Bass and the JTM45 build with KT66's.

I liked the 72 JMP then the 68 plexi then the Major. All good though.

Most people have told me the same thing, they like the 72 JMP best.

It's a very aggressive sounding amp with lots of attack.
This amp makes the fretting hands job a lot easier. :)
The headroom could be a little bit better but overall it's a killer sounding amp head.

Just curious, is the 72 lower B+ voltage than the others?

Good stuff! The major sounded best to me, sounded less "grainy" than the others to me! Not surprising, the major seems to be your calling card :)

I prefer the major over the others. It held together a lot better and the sound was more consistent.

Yes. it is.
I think it's around 360v and the other are much higher.

Thanks a ton guys for the feed back.

I personally love the Major best.
It's just got that sound that's stuck in my head.
It's so pure.

Thank you my friend, I appreciate ya commenting on the sound clip.

The Major seems to be getting most of the vote here.

That Major is just the shit!!! Sounds amazing!
The others all sound good, but a little crispy on the high end.
The JTM45 with KT66s was my second favorite.

Yeah, it looks like the Majors runnin' away with this little competition. :)
That crispiness is kinda there for a reason.
It's designed for a live situation so that you don't get buried in the mix of thing on a stage.
It really balances out nicely with the mix of drums, bass, vocals and keyboard.

That JTM45 has a wicked cool sag in the bottom-end that I like, it feels really cool when you're jammin' through it.

It sounds even better than the first one!
What pickups are you using in that guitar?
How much volume are you using in this clip?
Having never played a Major, I'm imagining they
must be louder than shit!!!!!

The guitar has a Seymour Duncan SH-4 in the bridge, one of my favorite pickups. :)
The recording was at about TV listening volume, not loud at all.
I was plugged straight in with no OD pedals. I don't even own any.
