just put my Mod5 inside this reissue for a client.

what do you guys think?

note: panning to left lets you here the clip pretty much dry.

Very nice, thanks for linkin'! I'm familiar with some of your clips from - if I remember correctly - the metro amp forum, and have been very impressed with your stuff! Guess I didn't realize you were a member here as well lol

Thanks a lot guys! the 50w amps sound killer! i appreciate the feedback.

Mark,

You are the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world of the early VH tone IMHO

For this kind of tone you are clearly the man. Great job!!

Wow mark, that is pretty Fckn Brown.

You've got the ear for nailing early Eddie tone and have for a while. I am curious though just how this amp sounds doing different things with different guitars. Not picking on your amp, but really Eddie's old tone. Could that amp do other styles as well or did it just do early Eddie? Just something I've always been curious about.

I'd love to hear some clips with no effects and played with a strat, a LP, and a hot pickuped guitar, all doing different styles.

used a les paul - neck pickup clean stuff and bridge pickup dirty.

you are listening to 1978 100w Marshall that i have on the bench that i just modified with Mod5.

go easy on my jazzy stuff. :D

Thanks!
its the trem bar slamming into the cord plugged into the guitar.

no pedals were used, plugged straight in.

by high gain what do mean? it gets high gain as far as i see it.

Sounds killer.

What is that "click" at the end of the video? Are you using any pedals? If not, how does it sound when being pushed by a pedal? Can it get high gain tones?

I think your work is the best I've ever heard for early VH type stuff. what cab and speakers are you using?

Hi,

Browsing your site, it says the Mod 5 amp is 1800. What is this amp, is it a kit build with your mod? Does it come with effects loop as standard?

What is the wait time?

Thanks
Nico.

how long is the wait to get an amp modded? and I have a 79 2204 , could u do the same amp mod on it as in the clip above and how much?
