It doesn't suit my writing or any of the bands that I'm in...but if I could plug into an amp downstairs once in a while that sounds like that it would make me happy to. :D

Same here although I would have the stones enough to use that tone for the heart Tribute I'm in hahaha! EVH..eart :D

Nice playing Mark...great EVH chops. Let's see the clips of this amp of just the dry signal w/o the variac or any protools.

IIR, there is NO variac here...just a damn fine MV...and if you do like Mark says and just listen to the left side, it's pretty dry. This mod Mark has been doing has been around for several years now...there is no Tom foolery going on; just pure EVH tone.

Nicely done, rockstah. Sounds better than any Mojave Peacemaker EVH clips I’ve heard.

I have a JCM 800 1981 2203 model what would a mod 5 cost on it? Didn't see a mod 5 cost on the website.

thanks Brian

Thanks! what do you think of these two?

scorpion with my mod - https://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=9700953

peacemaker i worked on as well.- https://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=9603617

Mark

Love the Scorpion tone, not a fan of the Peacemaker, which sounds too dark and not bright enough to be brown! Same mod on both, or were there differences that would make the Scorpion stand out?

The 1983 50 watter in the first post sounds so awesome, both at early VH, AND the dropped tuning darker modern stuff! Even there, it still has that "tubes on fire" sound.

that was pretty awesome.

you've got that down tight.

TV volumes?
