Excellent. The high end zing is just right, one area a lot of dupes fall shot - but not here!

I think your work is the best I've ever heard for early VH type stuff. what cab and speakers are you using?

its a late 70's marshall cab with early 90's reissue greenbacks. :thumbsup:

Not bad considering the VH tone it can get. I think some of that aggressive nature still comes through though. Could be warmed up perhaps, but I realize that would sacrifice the main tone of the amp. I was curious as to how it did.

Can you roll off the treble and presence on the amp to tame a bit? How are you running the EQ to get the VH tone? You posted a "heavy" clip in another thread that I really dug, but it seemed different EQ settings were used.
 
Yeah, that's it. I'd love to have something that can do some EVH, but I'd only use it on occasion and would want something a little more like that clip as my main tone.
