Man, sounds huge through my computer, bet it sounds even bigger in the room. That live band clip sounds great too. I have to look more into these, problem is there doesn't seem to be too many around to give a test run.

Watch all your vids. To me personally I like this Wizard the best. Thing sounds tits!
Would love to check one out someday.

If you ever get to Los Angeles, come and play :)
Thanks for the invite!
Closest I been there was I lived in Spring Valley for about 2 years.
Beautiful area of the country though for sure.
Man.....I gotta stop thinking about the Wizard amps now.

took me two years to get my hands on one, who knew I could have just gotten a 5153 50 watter for the same tones...
  Who knew.

Apparently "ElectricVoodoo"...
He rings of a past banned member back again.

Honestly its TOTALLY fine to prefer another amp. but his original comment was just an attack, I didn't make this video for him. I made it for anyone interested in Wizards. When I was looking online, there were only 1-3 videos that were even actually Mic'd up. It was also frustrating that no one played anything I wanted to hear thru the amp. I play a lot of metal and wanted to hear some chugs and some heavier approaches. Now there is a video that covers that stuff. :)
Not many you can find playing heavy. Jack Frost plays one here. I was talking to him on the phone awhile back and he was telling me how the sound guys were all blown away by his Wizard tone. I think he plays an MTL but I could be wrong. No one knew much about the MTL even a year or so ago. In this 2013 vid it might be an MCI or it was tweaked by Rick for him. I think there are more recent vids with him and the Wizard. He seemed like a really cool Dude.

That sounds great!

And *not* a fan of the 5153, would love to hear some clips of it though electicvoodoo

seems like a great amp for you reza- kinda like when bob found his voice with the deliverance 60

i get a sense of hope when guys migrate from super high gain amps that sorta play themselves,
to more plexi level gain where tone increases as distortion and chug decreases, and playing the instrument dynamically becomes more possible. what gtr/pickups you using?

that jack frost thing not so much my cup of tea :D

I deleted my initial comment quickly after I made it because I thought it was rude.

If i deleted and edited it, why post it reza?

I'll tell you why, because hes a bitch who likes to feel sympathy from others.

the v transformer is Rick's latest and greatest - I had an older Wizard MC50 with a C transformer (I think...whichever one was the more modern flavor). These amps are just great, playing them will put a smile on your face every time.

Nice demo Reza, I too have gone towards more "Marshally" amps as of late, the modern amps just don't seem to have the dynamics and pick attack/clarity.

Your amp sounds amazing.

I had a chance to play through a bunch of Wizards on the weekend during an amp shoot out, including the 1st Wizard Metal 1 ever built, & this particular amp was the greatest moded plexi headI have ever heard in my life. It destroyed every amp at the shoot out & every other head I've ever played through.

Actually, I just quoted you in my response before you went back and changed your comment...
It's just a forum bro, buncha guitarists hanging out sharing, talking shit, having fun.

I've said some salty shit here beforeX it's no biggie.
If you want to personally attack me, that's ok too.

Like I said, were just here to have fun. If you feel better about the situation by going after me personally, then that's you doing you.
I don't have a beef with you, but I do think it's funny.

cool
