2 head switcher with line out and load?

Does anyone make a single space rack mount head switcher (I only need it for 2 heads) that will let me A/B between the two into one dry cab and send the unused head to load when it's not feeding the dry cab along with switching over the line out from each head to feed the FX for the wet cabs too?

I know CAE makes one but I can't swing $1500 for it.

I heard Egnater used to make one, the SS4.

The Sound Sculpture Headtrip doesn't have a line out.

A Radial headbone also doesn't have line out.

Anyone else make one that's more affordable than the CAE? It doesn't need to be midi, actually a regular footswitch would be better for my simple setup. Just one stomp to switch back and forth from head A to head B would be perfect.

Thanks!

I think the Brunetti Matrix does that. Not sure what it costs. It's made in Italy.

I believe Suhr was working on one.

Thanks guys. I think the Brunetti is way overkill and perhaps a bit too complex for what I need.

I'll ask Suhr about it, thanks for the tip.

What I really need is the simplest version of it. Doesn't even need to be midi. Pretty much a 1U rack mount Radial headbone with a switchable line out and level control for it with a remote foot switch that sits on my board to A/B it all. The only midi in my rig is my Echo Pro which I switch presets on via a Tech 21 Midi Mouse...real complex.

FWIW-- I believe you'll want/NEED independent line level controls for the selected amp's signal feeding your effects. I have found this feature very useful.

Best of luck

That makes sense for sure.

the more I do searches on forums and google It seems no one makes what I need so it's all a pipe dream anyway. I wish that CAE was more affordable or there was a 2 head version for a bit less since it even comes with a footswitch and does everything I need. However the heads I'm switching don't even cost $1500 each so it's tough to swallow that price tag.

weber makes a 2 head 1 cab switcher, I used to have it
it's not in a rack, but you could get someone to make into a rackmount if you know someone tech savy

I'm familiar with that one too but it isn't ideal. It says it has a line out which is a plus over the headbone...however...you have to use a separate (not included) a/b switch to switch the guitar input from head to head then step on the included Weber switch to switch from amp A to amp B that feeds the single dry cab. So it's 2 stomps to switch between heads. Not exactly a quick smooth switch.

I have the Weber 2 amp head switcher, and am able to use effects on either the Night train 50 head or the Carvin Legacy combo amp (Using the Legacy combo speakers) The only switching I have to worry about is switching amp heads. My signal is split off my Furman pedal board. So now my Night Train 50 head and Carvin work so well together to shape great tone! Thanks for the posts!

All you need to do is use a Lehle P split (or other device with two outputs) to feed both heads signal at the same time. Then use a Weber switcher to switch between outputs from the heads.

I use an Axess Electronics HS2(head switcer)....and a Suhr ISO box(for a line out to wet effects) between dry cab and speaker out from the HS2. That way I switch ether head and wet effects for wet/dry rig.

If you want a "load" as well...you could always use the Palmer pdi03.
