We couldn't do this without rig-talk. The support and enthusiasm that is displayed on this site is incredible. Damn half the amp came from RT members.

I haven't slept in 3 days, it's like my brain is on 11. I'm back at the studio labeling amps and I set up my video studio up in the lounge so we're gonna be puttin videos together on the fly and uploading. I just uploaded a 35 minute video and it worked!!! Took almost 4 hours to upload and about 45 minutes to process.

So what I'm gonna do is do large groups of 10 to 20 amps at a time in 4 categories:

2010 LA Amp Fest - Mid Gain Central
Fender, Vox, Victoria, Electradyne, Jet City etc...

2010 LA Amp Fest - Classic Tone
Marshall Plexi, Ceriatone, Goldfinger, Dirty Shirley, Reeves, Hiwatt etc...

2010 LA Amp Fest - The Mod Squad
Fredman, Jose, Cameron, Soldano, Splawn, Fortin, Wizard, Henning etc..

2010 LA Amp Fest - Liquid Metal
Diezel VH4, Naked, Twin Jet, Rhodes, Mesa Boogie Rectifier etc...

Set'em up and let them warm up and get sounds and then roll video and audio and record non-stop till we've gone through them all. Then I will download the video and audio, while that is going on we will set up the next group, get sounds and let people play any amp through any cab they want. It's gonna be sick, never done before. The guys here are gonna get to play through some of the best amps in the world at full volume through an array of cabs. :) I ran the computer in my video studio hard wire, so I will be uploading videos as they get cut. If everything goes well we should have the videos and audio up by Sunday night or Monday morning.

James, thanks for your energy and enthusiasm. This fest will make up for years of scouring the net for clips or vids of amps like this, out of the reach of a mere mortals guitar shop and then it's a guy playing a strat set to mild breakup/clean or some kid doing only the death scoop into a distorting camera! Can't wait to see it all.

Brad, the problem with living in So-Cal is, that your in So-cal   After 5 years in SD/L.A. I'll never go back to live. No matter how good it looks in T.J. Hooker re-runs. :D

I'm jumping in the shower and heading over to Mark's. We'll see you in a bit

This should be GREAT

On my way with the VHT, and VM!

Guess ill leave the Lead Mosfet 100 at home......
:aww:

This is wild. A who's who of the amp world. Probably near 100 amps.
