Looks promising. Maybe Gibson has been watching what Fender is doing with Charvel?

The Tiger striped Kramer looks spot on to the one Russ Parish (Satchel) uses with Steel Panther! Cool!

Hopefully they are made like old Kramer's instead of like new Gibsons.

Flamesuit on. :scared:

maple bodies??? those things are going to be briiiiiight.

Not necessarily... I have heard many maple guitars that were very dark sounding. It depends on where the maple was grown/sourced. Some maple can be so bright it will loosen your fillings, while other pieces of maple can sound warm and chunky!

+1

I used to think that until I had a maple bodied Hamer. That thing sounded very full. I was stupid and sold it.

yea all my guitars are maple and not one of them is bright at all .... there all very full and chunky sounding

its prob the fattest sounding tone wood ive heard

i really want that bullesye ... saw pics of those at namm and starting having a heart attack

I saw awhile ago that Russ/Satchel is playing them, as I am a big Steel Panther fan. If he is really playing them, them there is some hope as he usually plays custom Waynes, ESPs, Charvels...etc. High end '80s guitars. He could shred on a piece of crap if necessary, and I am sure they would build him what he wanted, but I am hoping they would just make them correctly to begin with. It really isn't all that hard.

They Look great!
Man....old school Kramers were some of the best in the 80's!

i thought kramers were generally shite back in the day until i played a stagemaster. great guitar.

They were...except for the good ones. They flooded the market with crap beginner models and had high end models as well. Which do you think they sold more of? It is the same as Fender with their squire, mexican, American, Custom Shop, higher end lines....which do you think they sell more of? Kramer got a bad rap for their plywood, shit guitars. They did have some excellent ones like you mentioned.

Do they make these in solid colors? I had a really badass GMW hotrod flames. I have always loved that graphic, so I bought it. I strapped it on and came to the conclusion that I am to old to play a guitar with a graphic on it. I looked in the mirror and thought "man I really look like an asshole".

The two with graphics are blatant Charvel rip offs. 80's Kramers were pretty cool, but they were certainly not known for those two graphics or really any cool graphics. They did a series with an artist called Kilne doing graphics and they were pretty cartoonish and missed the mark in my opinion. Check out the Kline stuff here.

Those are the Vintage Series. That's just a part of their line. The rest is newer stuff that is pretty uninteresting IMO.
I would like to check out the Stagemaster. The originals Stagemasters were killer. (Neck thru built by ESP along with many other Kramers)

I hope these turn out good, I really want that Stagemaster.
