How much should I pay for a 20th Anniversary Bogner Ecstasy, EL34, no Class A/AB option?
If you want to convince me on why I should/should not get one, now's the time ;)

A different question immediately comes to mind: How many XTC's does one person need?

;)

Haha Rob ;)

I was thinking: "How many meds does a person like me need so he can stop buying amps?"

Buy it. It's the greatest amp ever made.

Took a while for you to reply, I thought you'd do it in about 5 minutes ;)
I don't remember if you have the 6L6 or EL34 version?

Thanks mate

20thA XTC is a keeper - knowing then what I know now? I'd have paid a lot more than I did... It's worth a LOT of money to me.

EL34, A/AB, and all the other bells and whistles. By far one of the finest sounding, sagging, chewing, awesome amps I've ever had the pleasure of calling my own. May not be for everyone, but so it goes - I love mine.

OP asked, how much should you pay??

Depends...there are not dozens floating around, yet they do come up pretty regularly.

Now, what are you hoping for? If you can snag a 20th in excellent condition for $2800, you're doing pretty well, IMO.
All the bells and whistles, as Uncle Mo put it, may run you a bit more, like $3000.

Awesome amps, either way. I prefer the 6L6 myself, after having both briefly.
You can't go wrong with the 20th, killer!

Yep. 2800- 3K is a good fair price for one in great condition with 2800 being about as good as one could get.
