that corso we had was a big goober....till someone showed up or he was outside in the fence. The fence brought out the retard in him big time.

About 100 mountain lions are killed here every year. If they threaten or kill livestock or pets, then POW POW POW.

One strange thing about the cats. They make the regular sounds you'd think of most of the time but there was an incident where a lion wanted a puppy that was hiding in a woodpile on the other side of our fence that surrounds our property. The cat couldn't get to puppy and that beast sounded like a demon from the lowest part of hell. Never heard anything like that before or since... and I don't want to ever again.

A mountain lion makes a damn nice rug to put in front of the fireplace. They've been spotted a few miles down the road at my brothers place. I would definitely smoke one of those puppies for the coat alone if I come across one. Legal anytime of the year here. Unfortunately it looks like they are off limits for hunting in California, there's a surprise. Anything cool is banned in California. Here kitty kitty POW POW POW.

I run into bobcats on my bike trails all the time. They are cool as shit though, and don't fuck with anyone.

Here's a young male just chilling next to the trail. I've seen a litter of bob-kittens too

Yeah, that stuff is unnerving. My brother found tracks on his property. He's higher up the hillside than me. Never seen a track here, or a rattler in a half dozen years, but he's got all that just a few miles up the road.

Yeah, I've seen them pretty damn big too. The kittens were the size of domestic cats. I need find the pictures of the kittens, or maybe it was a video

But the whole time the kittens were playing on the trail, I knew mom was watching, so we were extra careful to not let the kittens get to close.

I see the videos of people with a lynx for a pet. Never seen a bobcat one. Never looked for one though so anything is possible I suppose.

I've been telling my wife I want one for years. LOL

Interesting in that video, those bobcats are on the small size. I bet whoever initially bought them did so from some breeder that breeds them small so people can manage them.

I guess if you get one early and it imprints on you. Would be cool. I have a bud that wants a pet fox. I said it would be fine till it pisses on your floor and you have to remove your floor. Apparently fox piss is worse than napalm. I can only imagine what a bobcat would be like.

I agree with this. Americans need to stop fighting one another, and come up with a solution.

We need to reopen mental institutions. Families of the mentality ill have 0 tools to help, (by law) they cannot restrain or remove dangerous items from the mentally ill family members.

The other problem is we need some way of restricting sales to mentally unstable people. The problem with this, that's most of the MAGAs :ROFLMAO:
I thought this was a cat thread??

Well it was 2A thread that got derailed to big cats we want as pets, and rugs :ROFLMAO:

BTW I shot my nephews S&W 460 a few weeks ago. Feels, shoots, and looks just like the S&W 500 I had, but with much cheaper ammo <$2 a round, as apposed to $5 I was paying for my 500 (and that was like 15 years ago)

I want one now :ROFLMAO:
Buddy got a 454 casull lever action and put an eotech on it. Sweet little rig. With that barrel you can add about 500fps to published velocities.

S&W 500 is a blast. I don't use it often, and I found a good source for ammo before the pandemic. I can't imagine the snubnose model with a 3.5" barrel!

That's a nice big round too, I bet that's fun in a rifle.

My dad has his dads old lever action from the 1800's. I want that damn thing!

Crazy the price difference with the 460 ammo, I think 500 just has the novelty tax
The .460 is probably the better cartridge if not just for the versatility of anything chambered in it but the .500 would sure be fun casting slugs for.
