Sure and the majority of those crimes are against an individual the perpetrator has a beef with or some other single individual like a robbery. Besides that, LOTS of crimes can be committed with a firearm that isn't even discharged IOW nobody was shot or even shot at. How about showing shootings/murders committed with illegal weapons? The gun legislation crew is concerned about MASS shootings with AR type/high capacity weapons. Most if not all of the firearms used in those were bought legally.

Yep, I agree, Bro. We live in the mountains in a tiny village. Our stretch of mountains is about 20 miles long. We have 2 Sheriff's Deputies up here normally.

We're armed and will ventilate anyone who breaks into our home... if our dogs don't disembowel them first. Lots of us lefties own firearms and mean dogs.

We also have mountain lions, bears and coyotes up here. Mountain lions are usually a solo act unless they doing the mating dance, but last week up here someone's yard camera recorded THREE of them walking together. That's basically rare. When my wife gets home at night, she takes a good look around before exiting the car. Pro tip: don't go for a walk in the woods alone when the sky starts to light up before sunrise and at twilight. That's when the cats are most active and roaming. We live in a heavily wooded area, next to a National forest, so lots of critters here plus there's a creek around 100 yards from us where they like to drink.
