Drips tone.
Thats one of the "few" clips I listen to the end.
Bravo,well done !

Awesome Job man! I would love to learn more about this build. Please share some pics if you have them. Thanks for sharing those clips.

I like your schem especially for the loop. Its minimal. to me the less you can get away with there, the better. It sounds great with that delay. Is it in the loop.

 reminds me a bit of that outro Yngwie does on that crappy Steeler CD. (the songs were shit, Yngwie was awesome) Great tone ! I rell you that Jose mod always sounds good to my ears. Nice and tight.

Hey guys, here are a few really bad pic's, I don't own a great camera so its the best I can do for now. I will get the strat clips up though, this amp has very good strat tones which isn't easy with a lot of amps I've used. The fx loop works well for me and the fx's your hear in the clip are from the multiverb in the loop. back in the day I ran W/D/W but I had help loading in & out, today it's just me so I needed something that would work well with fx's unit 1 head & cab or a combo. The power supply and filters are Train Wreck Express clones. all voltages on the B+ rail are the same. I loved the TW but it was just to loud to use at gigs.the diodes I've tried were 4747,4743 but the ones I like the best are 4148's, but thats just me. I know true JOSE's used zeners and you can certainly make this amp a ture jose if you like. just move ch-2 master to before the tone stack, add a .22uf cap & 10K resistor in series to the input lug of that master, remove the 470K voltage divider thats between the first & second gain stage off the relay and replace it with a 1meg pot for level then bypass the input to wiper with a .0047uf ceramic cap and there you have it. this circuit change to me made the amp cruchier, more modern sounding. and it will go even more modern if you change the coupling caps to .022uf, add a depth pot ( 47K resistor off pres input, series to .1uf cap to 1meg pot input with .0047uf across pot input lug & wiper lug, then off wiper to 4ohm tap on the output transformer. lots of bottom end like this ( to much for my taste but thats just me. Then a PPIMV or VVR and you've got a modern metal machine for shure, while ch-1 keeps your feet on the ground with old school plexi tone at any volume you would like it to be via ch-1 master!

thanks guys,
Dennis
