Got a Vigier GV Wood on the way. Seems to be a good combination of Les Paul or PRS aesthetics with a more modern playability. I'm pretty excited. It's coming from one of the larger stores and rated as "A" which from my experience is going to be super clean since they are critical on their grading.

Wow, that's nice. Normally I'm not a fan of gray or black guitars, but that one is understated and sharp.

Awesome - I've only the more typical super strat types from Vigier.

That looks killer. I’ve always wanted to try a Vigier. Congrats

These guitars have no truss rods....correct? Some type of carbon fibre neck?

Living in the humid tropics on an island in southern Japan, every guitar I have needs several adjustments per year. Not only do these not need adjustments. They stay in tune for months. They’re outstanding guitars

Amazing guitars. I have a seven string. Best combination of modern ideas while still enough traditional stuff to feel at home. Such an absolute tragedy they have shut down.

Correct is called the 90/10. 10% carbon fiber. It’s the skunk strip that is the full thickness of the neck to the fretboard. Extremely stable.

They actually opened up long enough to do a run of these in mahogany in 2025. At least they have an online store for parts, etc

That's really cool. I'm a fan of builders trying new things to improve some of the traditional issues with guitars like neck stability.

That is pretty wild! I know Bumblefoot is a big fan of these and for good reason. Nicely done!

I've never had a guitar with a zero fret. That's a slick designed guitar.

The zero fret is cool. Even though it’s stainless steel, the zero nut will wear. Vigier still has their parts store open and sell replacement zero frets that you can replace without a luthier.

This think is an absolute beast. It’s nearly flawless and I’m pretty sure was one of the earlier years. Even the case is mint. The 5 way switch adds tons of versatility and the pickup are great. I was expecting a bright pickup in the bridge but it brings lots of heft too @8.7K A5. Neck is 7.5k A2. Split tones are all good and the neck nearly plays itself. The guitar is very ergonomic and comfortable.
