Is it accurate to describe that the 1957 Historic RI LP Black beauty i hear is... resonant, loud, thick and dry (in a way), has that mid aggressiveness and has kinda light crunch tone to it? Played not plugged in...

In my experience, the 57s generally have more mids to them because they don't have a maple top so I would say your statement is accurate

Very good interpretation of 'Burst' sound. 490.000$ for place in history of guitar and 10.000$ for guitar itself.

It`s the sound of 60 year old wood that is not available at any cost anymore.

Good point later in the video when he says not all of the bursts are great. This is secondhand info, but I was told that The Claw/Carmelita (9-1953) previously owned by Bonamassa was pretty much a dog as far as playability.

Im
57’s have always had a maple top
Sorry, I should have been more specific. 57 Standards do of course. But 57 reissue Black Beauty Customs do not. At least the historic models AFIK
