59 LP into Dumble

Man,
single note runs were good(on the OP video) but is it the audio or was that flubby rasp the amp?

Probably just a bad recording, could be the camera mic or some other poor decision. It sounds horrible either way.

Emerald's (relatively) local to me. They always have cool shit. I've never played the LP or the dumble, but I do know they know how to record shit.

This sounds like an HRM modded dumble. If ya don't like it? Well, ya don't like it. I dig it though.

Wrong player for that rig. Sounded good when he decided to slow down and abandon the metal licks. Surprised they put that video out.

Aaron is an amazing guitar player. I follow him on IG and he is usually playing Strat's and has an insane collection as well. Would like to see him play one of his Strat's through this amp.

Man, starting at 2:08 in that top video...that's some good shit. The 2nd clip...gawdamn. Love the playing in both.

This vid proves that I’m just not a PAF pup fan. Great clarity and cut, but there’s something about the clones I’ve tried that I just don’t dig. These are real PAFs and I still hear that ‘thing’ that I just don’t care for. So I’m putting it on the PAFs more than the amp. Even dialed a bit darker, that quality comes through imo. If I owned that guitar, I’d leave it alone of course; just have to darken the Dumble.
Agree, both players rip.

Not at all what I would have expected. Not what I’d shoot for if I plugged that guitar into that amp but interesting nonetheless. What speakers? If those are EVs that may be a lot of it.

Wonder if you'd like vintage P90's or not. They sound kinda like a more wild, snarly, untamed PAF. I like them even more than PAF's, but I love all that stuff. You gotta find a real '59 loaded with Iron Man's. That would maybe be the ideal guitar for you haha. Those PAF's have a mid-range that I call bluesy, I don't have the best words to describe it well. The lower output stuff by MCP and BKP kinda got rid of that and so they don't really sound like PAF's
