98 Gibson Les Paul Special Wiring

So my Gibson Les Paul when I get some money saved up, want to have the wiring looked at.

It has the factory P100 neck and a Dimarzio p90 super distortion bridge, all 500K Gibson pots, graphtech string saver saddles, Grover tulip button tuning keys, everything else is stock as far as I know. I don't know if the Dimarzio is wired Series or Parallel and wonder which is better for what our cover band plays; classic rock/hard rock/80's hair metal to some newer rock.

You can do a push pull to switch between series/parallel it's easy too.

@creep66 thank you I did not know that! Do het regular full power humbucker is it series?

I wonder too because the p90 super distortion is 4 conductor if I can switch to single coil too? I ask because I think the Gibson p100 that's in the neck I don't think is 4 conductor wiring?
