I've got a MXR Carbon Copy delay right now. Just doesn't saturate very well. Any recommendations?

As far as something that will work really well in terms of levels, a Nova Repeater and a Boss DD7 will for sure. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones that I've had good experiences with.

Please note that those delays will sound fine on the normal/lower gain channel. However, no delay will really work like it should once you engage the overdrive channel. Not with the stock loop.

The Loop is the biggest POS ever.

You will never hear the repeats while your playing on the overdrive channel no matter what pedal you use.

Clean works okay

+1 on the Flashback. I hear the delays while playing on the lead channel, definitely not as strong as my other amps though, but I clearly hear it enough to give me the added ambience/grease I need. Then again, the reason that may be the case is that 99% of the time I'm listening/playing via the desktop monitors to the mic'd sound. Admittedly I personally don't use a ton of coloring effects anyway and lean towards a more dry sound with a hint of verb (regardless of the amp), but ever since I nabbed the SLO and read about the loop, I experimented with my Flashback delay pedal and have scratched my head at the comments about not hearing the delay lol...I've thought, huh? I hear the delay, wtf are they talking about. 0.2

New guy here but I have a Nova System I use in the loop with my SLO which works very well IMO. Prior to that I had the Nova Delay which also works well but they just cut the price of the Nova System so I highly recommend at least checking that out. Pro Audio Star is selling them at 279 which is friggin steal IMO.

As you can tell by my username, I love Floyd and both TC units do a great job with PF material. I love that I can save the patches for live use. Whatever you decide and I'm sure you know this already but you will want to get something line level not instrument. Good luck man.

roland dd20 works great on the lead channel

set it up for line level and all is good to go.
