A singer is a terrible thing to waste.

Hate to say it but could he ever really sing? I do enjoy their songs on record but live he is not great. I think if he put at least some effort in he could be better.(pre tour) His band seems to be on point but if he isnt that sucks.

But yeah, he was never the greatest singer.
But that's not why Nikki and Tommy brought him in.
Just listened to Motley Crue Greatest Hits this weekend.
Bitter Pill, Without You, Home Sweet Home etc his voice sounds great.
Granted it was 10+ takes and studio magic + other singers.

This line up came to my town a few years ago for the City Festival. It was packed. In the end Vince sang literally 6 songs and the band played 4 songs in total without Vince even being on stage. Jeff Blando has a great voice and they played a bunch of Sabbath/Dio songs and sounded amazing. Vince came back on stage after a long break and sang one song and was done. I was talking with some local police friends and they told me that City Management paid Vince around $300k for that gig. WTF???? $300K for 6 songs????? Pales in comparison to a few years prior they had Brett Michaels play the festival and he was on stage for over 2 hours.
 
I saw a video of him and his wife outside of a club or something and he was being a major asshole.
 
This made the Eddie Trunk show..
He said he bailed in the middle of the song and left the band hangin'..
Some harsh comments on here.
He looks fat as fuck, must be on something because he can't pronounce words properly..
 
Interesting to see how prepared the guitar player was to cover for Vince at the beginning of Live Wire, like it's not unexpected. Isn't this kinda what Jeff Pilson does for Don Dokken?

Yep, I saw them in the Hollywood club scene before they got big and he always struggled. Nothing new here. But, I just don't get the unprofessionalism. At least give the fans the best you have, even if its a bit off...
