You had me with the Klon...but the deal with Dumbles is no different than 58/59 bursts...they go for 250K+...and you can buy a JG for 5% of that.
Also, if I had the coin I'd buy a Dumble for 45 and leave it in the closet for 20 years...it'll fetch more.

So true. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would buy all the Dumbles out there, and just wait it out. In 20 years time they will go for outrageous amounts.
In fact... I would even run a Metal Zone into them, mids cut all the way, and post myself playing Blink 182 songs on YouTube (recorded with a bad camera of course). The responses would be priceless.

My personal experience is that it happens everywhere. However, online forums are generally the worst for me. Ebay's fee's suck but that's where I end up moving things. Recently was selling a set of pickups, listed them here, on TGP, Harmony Central and Les Paul forum. Not a single inquiry after 24 hours. So I put them on ebay for $20 more than I was asking on the forums and someone hit the BIN in about 45 minutes. It happens more times than I care to recall. It's all good though.

Ebay is still where I have the most luck selling too. I try to sell on the forums first. Then as a last resort, I put them on ebay. With ebay they will see, just sometimes I have to list them a few times.
