About 10 or twelve. A big board and a small board.

I only use about three or four though. Tuner, boost, delay, reverb.

I went through a pedal phase. Could care less about them now. A good delay and reverb is all I really care about. Anything else does not contribute to my tone.

I don't EVER think I've seen a player with a BIG board and thought to myself. Wow, he has good tone..

I'm definitely not into collecting pedals, or having too many around that I don't use regularly...

MAIN BOARD (used with 20th Shiva)
MXR-CAE401 Boost (buffer)
Polytune
Crybaby 535Q
MXR Phase 90
MXR Micro Chorus
BYOC Tremolo
Boss DD20 Delay
Constantly rotating overdrive Slot: (Currently a Fulltone Plimsole #1)

SMALL BOARD (for Bogner Metropolis, house backlines, etc).
MXR-CAE401 Boost (buffer)
Polytune
Fulltone Plimsole #2
MXR Custom Modified Overdrive (coming soon)
(probably going to add a comp, delay and chorus to this board soon)

MISC PEDALS:
Tech 21 Para Driver DI for recording
Boss CE2 Chorus
Fishman Acoustic Aura Dreadnaught pedal

Pretty much slimmed down to everything I need, nothing I dont.

Nice efficient setups. I see you like to stick with bogner. Does the Bogner lineup do everything for you that you need or does it come up short for some stuff?

I start with a big board with the band and then strip out the pedals I don't use. I usually end up with 5 to 8 pedals. I have actually never seen someone play live with more than about 10 pedals.

two boards. one is sort of vintage. tuner.. big muff pi w/tw.. marshall bb-2.. boss ce-5.. and a modtone analog delay.
the other board is more modern sounding. tu-2.. od 808.. jet city shockwave.. marshall gv-2.. and eh metal muff w/top boost.
i've got other pedals sitting around and i swap them out from time to time just to see if i can use them.. but those are my basic boards.

I sold off a bunch in the last year and probably still have around 50. I'm a pedal junkie for sure. Here are two of my boards...

Board1.jpg

Board2.jpg

I'm currently GAS'ing to buy a lot of pedals back too, plus some of the amps and guitars I've sold. Come on lottery! lol

Guitar-> Maxon OD 808-> ISP Noise Decimator-> Amp (Bogner Uberschall Rev 2/Twin Jet)-> FX send-> Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer-> MXR 10-band EQ (don't use it much)-> Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb-> FX return-> -> Amp footswitch-> Bogner Uberkab

I guess I own 2. I have an SD-1 and I bought a Cusack Screamer a few years ago...let a buddy borrow it...now it's nowhere to be found.

I think that I have maybe at 20 at this point, I really dont know to be honest. I had over 100 at one point but Ive come to a point in life where if Im not using it, I dont want it around...

One thing that I dig is that Mad Professor Tiny Orange Phaser but at 400 bucks, I just cant justify it... Some of these "Boutique" guys are out of their minds...

wow, some really nice boards in here. I only have two lol.

TS-808 and the Q model Crybaby. I really want to start testing different o/d. I use a single rack unit for effects. Honestly can not think of anything else needed aside from a Noise Supressor.

Should I get a pedal or rack I wonder?

No joke... some of those fancy boutique pedals can add up to be more expensive than amps and guitars combined. I like my rig because it's simple and I can operate it without needing a MIDI switcher, and because my core tone isn't something that's colored by 15+ sources other than the amp and guitar.
