And did Gilbert, Nuno and Vito really used one to record during the early 90's????

The original MP1 had chorus too. I've had 3 regular old MP1s and still love them, but since getting a Friedman modified Marshall, I've barely used my rack..jlbaxe":3upvjaub said:Had them all and liked the MP1 the best. The Mp2 had a "Brown" and effects like chorus IIRC

I always wanted to try the JMP-1

The best combo for me was an MP1, BBE Sonic Maximizer, and a Marshall EL34 100/100 power amp. The older MP1's seemed to have more gain than versions that came out in the early 90's.The MP2 was not very good.

Usually neither the band nor the producer really remembers what was tracked with what, how many times it was done with different gear, how much of the solo was spliced together from what cuts, how much stuff was added postproduction, etc. remember the Michael Wagener thread. I don't think these guys are being evasive or hiding something. They really have no idea what made it on the album or what was done to it to get it there in some instances.
