Wow.... techno ! Really neat for a starter thou !!

Thanks, hopefully it works and sounds decent when I finish it

Please show pics and clips when finish !!

Clips will likely suck since best I could do is iphone vid, but I will keep updating with pics as I make progress.

Awesome! The board look great man.

Thanks!

I just keep thinking how much easier the next one will be with turrets that can fit multiple leads

Here is the best example of the Aldrich tone in my opinion. The lead tones are great but really listen when Doug hits chords and lets them ring out. You hear this tone that sounds like a muscle car engine. That is Aldrich tone to me:

I miss Ronnie so much. Sorry for the off topic, but needed to be said.

Here was a clip of my Aldrich I did for a friend. Showing it doesn’t need some fancy $225 pedal to get that modern tight high gain sound. I was emphasizing that I only needed to turn one knob. This is the magic that Cameron captures.

Thanks guys

I didn’t want to steal your thread, I just wanted to show how versitile the amp was.

That sounds huge & tight! Are those G12H anniversaries in that cab?

I think something got lost in translation. I made a clip for a friend of my Cameron Aldrich...which was modded by Mark back in 2011. I did not mod the amp. :)

Using G12H30 anniversary speakers.

That's one of the better sounding ones I've heard. The versatility is indeed pretty cool.

Great. Now I have to add an Aldrich to the list of amps to build. Thanks Dave.

For those that asked the preamp schematics are out there, and I believe there is a hand-drawn layout on here somewhere. The power section is pretty much straight Marshall with presence / depth / dark / etc to taste. Mark was also nice enough to answer a few questions I had while talking about the single channel CCV I bought.

Mostly it's piecing things together from information online.
