Of the few good choices we have out there at the moment, are there any where you can do two cabs simultaneously while still using an attenuator in the switcher's loop, where it attenuates for both cabs?

Not sure I completely understand the setup. So two amps, two cabs, attenuator, and a switcher to flip between each amp as needed? If that is the case, there are switchers out there that will do that but my guess is that they are expensive.

If you are looking at one amp, attenuator, and two cabs simultaneously, I use a Power Station.

So far I only see the KHE capable of this. Not so much for Delisle, Ampete and Kahayan. I actually dig the 8x6 pro by Delisle but it has no midi and midi could be very useful.

Ampete has one the 88s -Studio 2 if you can get ahold of one. Has 8 heads, 8 cabs, an attenuator loop . I have the 88s studio and it's the greatest thing on the planet . I also have the Delisle 8x6 pro plus in front of me and it can do it but it does not have midi.

KHE can do that, and the MIDI functionality is pretty handy.

KHE 4x4. Four heads, four cabs, two cabs at once, global FX loop and attenuator, if wanted.

Full midi. Just an awesome piece.

I keep looking at those but I have 10 heads and cabinets . Markus? has been very attentive to my questions . Ampete which I own, doesn't answer half the emails or only half of what your asking . Delisle is super cool but it is a mechanical setup not that that's bad . I need to hook that thing up but I can't get excited about changing over 18000 cables just to see if I like it.

Yeah i get the cable issue, drama, nightmare situation!!!!

I also have 10 heads and 8 cabs. I switch one once in a while. He has the 8x8 also. But if money is no object, get multiple units and daisy chain them, they are all inter connectable.

And yes Markus is awesome, very responsive to questions and in a very timely manner!!!!!

Hadn’t looked at the Delisle site in a while. They have quite a few now. Saw the two cab ability. I’m not sure midi is a deal breaker but the mad scientist in me envisioning amp, cab, channel, FX, pedal change with one step is cackling a little. Going to try and get my GCX audio switcher up and running again and put the pedals in a rack drawer. Just playing at home though so probably overkill. I do like the expandability of the KHE as I don”t seem to be buying amps in the negative. Delisle has some pretty sweet amps too.

I'm more than happy with my DeLisle 8x8 deluxe. I use it in a home setup mostly for convenience. I have 3x more heads than cabs and swapping things was a pain. For me MIDI wasn't a necessity as I'm only playing one amp at a time. The one thing I do wish it had is expandability. But with so many options and if you plan ahead it's not really a concern. If you don't need MIDI then DeLisle gets you the most for your money.

Like any switcher you're going to use what seems like miles of cables. If your handy with a soldering iron you can make your own. It'll save you some money and also help a great deal in cable management. You can make everything the length you need where you don't have long cables dangling everywhere.

Yeah, many moons ago I used to make my own George L’s, no soldering required and they sound great. Also quite skinny so not bulky in groups.

It’s all very frustrating trying to get what you need within a reasonable price point. Wish KHE and Delisle had a simple, singular FX loop option where you don’t need to hook up all the amp loops. To get enough amp/cab connects, loops and simultaneous cab possibilities is adding up fast. Unfortunately my attenuator is old school and doesn’t have a loop etc.
