Of the few good choices we have out there at the moment, are there any where you can do two cabs simultaneously while still using an attenuator in the switcher's loop, where it attenuates for both cabs?
I keep looking at those but I have 10 heads and cabinets . Markus? has been very attentive to my questions . Ampete which I own, doesn't answer half the emails or only half of what your asking . Delisle is super cool but it is a mechanical setup not that that's bad . I need to hook that thing up but I can't get excited about changing over 18000 cables just to see if I like it.KHE 4x4. Four heads, four cabs, two cabs at once, global FX loop and attenuator, if wanted.
Full midi. Just an awesome piece.
Yeah i get the cable issue, drama, nightmare situation!!!!I keep looking at those but I have 10 heads and cabinets . Markus? has been very attentive to my questions . Yeah, many moons ago I used to make my own George L’s, no soldering required and they sound great. Also quite skinny so not bulky in groups.I'm more than happy with my DeLisle 8x8 deluxe. I use it in a home setup mostly for convenience. I have 3x more heads than cabs and swapping things was a pain. For me MIDI wasn't a necessity as I'm only playing one amp at a time. The one thing I do wish it had is expandability. But with so many options and if you plan ahead it's not really a concern. If you don't need MIDI then DeLisle gets you the most for your money.
Like any switcher you're going to use what seems like miles of cables. If your handy with a soldering iron you can make your own. It'll save you some money and also help a great deal in cable management. You can make everything the length you need where you don't have long cables dangling everywhere.
