I've always regretted selling my old Modern Classic 50 watt, so sweet and awesome. And now its back!

I sold it to fund a MCII 100, but I liked the old MC way better. Finally its here, traded for my metroplex.

cool. are you going to miss the metroplex, or were you over it?

What do you prefer in the older model over the current offering?

It isnt an older model.. its a current model. simpler circuit and the original modern classic design.. big toothy punch

I thought the MP were really cool! Especially at lower gain settings. I tend to play kinda high gain a lot and thought it was too flabby for me. Didn't really use the modded setting, but liked the '68 setting.

The Modern Classic has the plexiglass thing covered but more firm bass and capable of more useable gain. :)

It's just more sweet, a bit more compressed (probably because of the 50 watt). This model still features a loop, boost, foot switching options and so on - loaded. And the C tranny.
