I had some great «old» Wizard that I sold and always have missed. A great MC 50 watt from 2007 and a great Metal 100 from 1993 with depth mod. A couple off old ARD’s. Love the new one as well and still have a MCll.

Looking at some old threads here and some guys have/had some great MC’s.

So if anyone still have an MC from 2007-2010 they wanna sell, hit me up.

i have a metal 100 i purchased from here that i'm selling, send dm if interested

My first Wizard experience was a Metal 100 that @Jdub had, and it was frightening hahahah. Reasonably sure that was the model (he can correct if not) and for sure it was an older one. That amp was a jet engine, killer sound

I had a 1993 Wizard 100W Metal with bass boost option.
Serial WM117… it didn’t have super high gain, but enough.
Like Velcro said, a RAW jet engine!

😉👍

Still have the MC Road 100 Rick built for me in ‘05 I think. Last gig volume at 4-1/2 😎

It has served me well for many years. Ive seen some vids of you playing yours recently. Good stuff.
Rando old post bump question - went back and looked at some vids of yours, that Ramble on clip... are those cleans coming from the rhythm channel ? what harmonizer are you using ?? Killer clip

Thanks. I only ever use the Lead channel and roll down the gtr volume. The relay Rick used on these were pretty useless, LOUD pop when changing channels. He said I wouldn’t notice at stage volumes…😄
All the effects are my ancient Digitech RP1000 with a couple pedals in its loop. The harmonizer is the RP1000. They used to make the rack IPS33 that I used to use, pretty sure they borrowed the tech for the RP. Had it 25 years now. Pretty great unit that flew under the radar back in the day. Just got a Line6 HX effects, going to try it tonite. The harmonizer in the Line6 seems to not have as many scales to pick from like the RP…had to work around it for some the modal stuff. Only had it a week so far.

Good report, thanks. My MC25 is back in gigging rotation and is stellar. Agree the best clean tones are the lead channel rolled back on the guitar volume, I did try something different and rolled the amp gain waaaay back then used the boost when needed, also hit it with a Wizard Leopard pedal a few times. Its such a killer amp, I do need to send it to Rick for a check up though, loop is giving me some issues

Nice! Would like to try one of those sometime. Normally my gain is on 8, this band we do a bit more clean stuff so like you I backed the amp gain to 6-7 and turned up the pedal gain to compensate. Works pretty good. My next plan with the HX is 4cm like I have been doing with the RP, but add the Tonex One in the HX second loop. Then use the Tonex for a clean model. I “think” it will work. 😎
I feel sorry for the guys that never get to experience a Wizard in a band situation…that is really where they shine.
