It's Friday today so it's time to reveal the player whose demonstrated the largest commitment to bringing that Neo Soul content in the past week. We had some great entries not only from @Dan Gleesak and some incredible last minute work from @Reverend Bow as well as a general commitment to the movement from @shredi knight but this week's award goes to @Matt300ZXT for really highlighting that duBBLe cReeM soul tone. Very nice work Matt, your commitment to making this the Neo-Soul guitarists forum of choice has been noted. Here's to you, Kimg.👑👑👑👑👑👑👑

Thanks to all who have contributed. I may not have remembered every name but do not be afraid to let your Neo-Soul shine in the next week so that you too can be awarded those sweet 7 golden crowns in due time.

I was robbed, robbed I tell you!!!!

Good thing I have plenty of:

It is with great self reflection and introspection that I humbly accept this award. Everyone had some interesting takes on the guitar that weren't tired metal cliches and I can really see the people on this forum slowly coming around to accepting that there is more to guitar than sweep picking and fast minor pentatonic licks, such as the dorian and lydian modes.

It is an unfortunate truth that only DiMarzios are legally able to come in dubbel kreem and sadly Bareknuckle, Duncan, Fralin, EMG, etc cannot produce such a pickup. Not even our friendly neighborhood pickup winder @scottosan can. And if he did, we'd rat him out lol

But I digest, I encourage everyone to keep adding their noodling to noodle warz. Perhaps, in the future, the next generation will produce a weedly weedly warz thread for wiggle stick tomfoolery. But for now, I feel the forum is moving in a positive direction and all will be blessed.

In closing, I thank you all for your submissions and challenge you to continue writing music. God bless the USA.

This is the kind of gratitude, thanksgiving, and neo-soulful post that earned you the award Matt. May the Lord bless all your neo-soul chops from this day and evermore. You are a true Kimg.

I wore tan shorts to work today, if that counts. Also, with a light powder blue pole shirt. I could only be more pretentious if I had worn my yacht snob shorts.
I forgot to mention that all the weekly winners going into March will qualify for a neo soul chops contest, the winner of which will likely get an invite to a weekend aboard @SmuggNorris 's yacht, provided he isn't tied up with mergers or other fiduciary duties.

I'm going to go to the bars this weekend and tell chicks I won the Rig Talk Neo Soul Guitarist Of The Week Award and see if I can't get me some strange.
The award is given with the intention that you use your skills to bring peace and love into the hearts and neo-souls of others Matt. ☦️
