CCV and BE100 dont sound anything alike...

Simple, most players have a tone in their head they try to recreate with whatever amp they play. Two modified marshall's are going to sound much alike when dialed into personal taste. Despite both heads come out of the same shop, they both are built very different.
I get that....
Have you played both?

The CCV is truly an awesome amp.![]()
Darker AND more articulate? Not sure I understandguitarmike":2tp60er6 said:The CCV is darker and a little more articulate, the BE while the bottom end is tight has more of a Marshall looseness.

My issue though is the second part of your sentence...it's simply incorrect. The real "win" with the BE for me is that it retains the Marshall voicing while exhibiting NONE of the typical looseness. How high are you running the bass control?

FWIW, I definitely wasn't trying to criticize you with my posts...I personally think they're very different, but everyone feels and hears things differently...apologies if it came off as a shitty response....not my intent.
