still in LA

when i discovered the Fishman rechargeable battery backplate would work to power the Tyler/Demeter mid boost i got excited.

no need for 9v battery compartment route, insane battery life, light lets you know when it’s low, so just plug in the usb charger…
That paint is so kickass looking. And gold hardware to top it off!!!

they really nailed the burning water paint job look i wanted😍

I can only imagine your excitement level to lay hands on that puppy. That will be a NGD to remember!!!
very satisfying that a long time vision i had in my head about my ultimate Tyler is coming to fruition.

the dialed cosmetics aside,

the ability to find and dive into the cleanest of cleans with the ultimate LA superstrat switching system known to mankind,
and then flip the blower switch over to full mid boost fattened tom holmes humbucker leads will be a dream come true and bring my Tyler journey full circle back to why i wanted one in the first place. the TONE.

Man, those all look great but I think it's a toss up between fire and ice or ninja vomit. That ninja vomit has a super unique look!!!
that was my fave too. plus it’s kinda one of the OG finishes just revised.
i almost asked Rich to to the edges of my headstock with that finish for a subtle nod to that .

Back in the day one of the guys I was working with had a Plush PA head that he used as a bass amp or we used as a PA. A little underpowered but it worked as long as you had some xlr to 1/4" adapters. About six or seven years ago we needed a PA for a gig and the guy I was working with used his SVT in mono for the vocals. That was one of the best PA's ever. Rich, warm, and huge sounding. Kind of a pain to lug around though, lol.

i had a Plush 4000G head and it was a painfully loud beast. using it for guitar live was like using a space x rocket launch to light your cig. Doomtown!

100 watts wasn't really enough power for the bass or PA, too much distortion at loud blues or rock gig volumes. I'm sure it offered enough punch for guitar though. It does sound like doomtown!!!

on the bright side,
it had no handle when i bought it so i had to carry that vinyl padded 4 ton sofa like an adult baby made of lead.
