1st 8 track was Kenny Rodgers gambler, and Donna summers.

1st casstette I don't recall.
1st CD was anthrax among the living, kiss crazy nights, and powermad.

Me too! I remember our local record store had a whole window display of the covers. I made a tape off the radio that must have had Jump on it 8 times LOL
 
KISS - Double Platinum



I remember I really wanted to get Alive 2 and being bummed because the record store I was at didn't have it. I saw DP and thought, "Well, this is also a double album and it has lots songs on it.", so I reluctantly bought it instead.

I eventually got Alive 2, along with most of KISS' other albums at that time (pre-Dynasty days), but Double Platinum was always my favorite.

I mowed lawns in order to purchase Deep Purple made in Japan I bought it at the local drug store Roberts Drug spring of 1973. I had purchased singles before but this was a an album yessss!

The first album I actually purchased was Boston's first one. I thought the cover looked cool. :lol: :LOL: I was 10 years old.
The first album I ever got was Kiss Originals, for pretty much the same reason :lol: :LOL:
I saw them on tv and I thought that they were cool. I was 9. I still have all my vinyl.
I wish I kept "The Originals" in better condition. It goes for a good buck these days. :doh:
