First tape I bought was AC/DC DDDDC. Played it on my single speaker cassette recorder. First CD I bought with my own hard earned money in high school was Rust in Peace. Mom and Pop bought a lot of music between 1981 and 1990.
 
my first cassettes were zeppelin"in through the out door" and acdc"fly on the wall"
 
Wow you guys have good memories, if I recall I think it would have been Kiss Alive (1st one) but I don't recall for certain....
 
Mine was Kiss alive II...

My uncle gave me Kiss alive and it changed my life forever...lol
