Any Digitech RP1000 users/guru's out there??

What's the latest filmware?? I can't find shit about it, even doing a search in their forums. I bought mine 4 months ago, and never installed any drivers, software, etc. And, I guess I need a different USB cable... It's a smaller port on the RP.

Any benefit in updating from 1.2, or is that up to date??

Excellent question. I have been using one for 5 years or so and believe I am using version 1.2 myself. I will be stuck on a project all day but plan on looking into it tonight.

I just got one of these to play with my cover band and used it this past weekend for the first time. I, too, looked for any updates and I believe what I found from checking out the Digitech forums was that this thing is dead in the water for updates due to their new stuff. Now don't quote me on that, but I think that's what the deal is.

My unit is 1.2 as well.

Word to the wise, do NOT use X-Edit to move any patches around. Trust me.

Having said all this, I've had most every device similar to this (i.e. M13, HD500, etc...) and so far I am really digging this thing. Its so easy to edit and everything makes sense to me right out of the box.

But yeah, I don't think there is any firmware update available.
