Cool, I grew up there (Troy) My uncle plays in some very well know blues bands in the Capital District.

Has been a long time since I was there.

Shows were insane in the mid to late 90's.

One of my favorite bands in the area that never did anything was Section8

I remember those guys. I played in a band called Dishonor in the early 90's. Saratoga Winners, QE2, some cool clubs back then.

Fuck yea man the Q was brutal. Some complete nutbags in those pits.

I literally went to almost every hardcore or metal show from like 95-2002.

Good times for sure and a lot of unknown talent in the area.

Albany?! sad i never got to see One King Down there. let's not mistake that as i have never seen them, love OKD! i assume a home town show would just be more fun (saw them multiple times when they played Wilkes Barre PA, where i am originally from)

Music scene isn't what it was...Too many bands not enough quality clubs.
