Any Fargen love?

I keep hearing great things about the Fargen Olde 800 Mk II.
It has a switch to voice it like a 60's, 70's or 80's Marshall.
The demos sound great to me. Real thick, fat gainy old Marshall type tones.

I had a Mighty Plex Mk II for a while, great amp. One of the few I wish I had kept. The only thing I didn't like about it was the power and standby switches on the back instead of the front.

I just met Benjamin Fargen recently and have had him do some amp repairs for me.
He is a super cool dude and really knows tone!!!
He hand wires the amps himself and takes a lot of pride in what he does.
I wouldn't hesitate buying one of his amps.
When I was at his shop a couple of weeks ago he was just putting the finishing touches on a custom build for Joe Satriani.

Thread resurrection.
I said I would and I finally got one. I went for the Fargen Mini Plex MKII. Killer amp!

Sounds pretty fargen good to me.
Thanks, I actually prefer it in 70's or even 60's mode with a boost in front. Really digging the DOD YJM pedal in front of it.
