Just so hard to believe that tone. Unexpected for sure. Zero need for a high gain amp. I used to have a HRDLX….ran a Bogner Blue and Red pedal thru it, sounded glorious.

I use an Ethos TWE-1 by custom tones through a fender HRD III that gets some fairly hot rodded marshall tones.

Bassman + 1-2 pedals is a phenomenal tone. Black or silver. Even at 1K (vs 3-400 a few yrs ago) a vintage Bassman will destroy many other more expensive amps in tone.

There's that riff I love so much! Man, that sounded great.. definitely modded Marshall there. What Fenders available today are like your Vibroverb?

Edit : To be fair, these aren't available new, and it's a 2x10 combo, but they are around used and if you're willing to have a 1x12 or 1x15 cabinet made for it and have it "blackfaced" it's the same as a Vibroverb.

Identical circuit, but the holes are reversed. Jk. Same
