He's an awesome singer for sure, great tone and range. I feel the style of singing has kind of burned his voice with age (obviously going to happen with anyone who has been doing this for 40 years!). The band and musicians are top notch of course, the only shame is the fact that they recorded real drums but as usual layered them with so many over produced samples that it might as well have been Ez drummer 2. That's a big gripe of mine...

The other singer Yngwie had that I really dig was Goran Edman from Sweden ??. Dude has a soulful yet rocking voice.

Pity most peeps only know him as a neoclassical artist.

Yngwie used to get good vocalists before he thought he could do it himself .. I can't think of a crappy one besides ripper Owens. He just didn't fit
