Been looking at the RI beauties... and i wonder any korina 58 freaks here would like to share their pictures here?

Does the 1958 RI korina explorer has the 58 neck thickness found on the 58 historic RI LP ?

I'm not a fan of the Explorer shape for my personal comfort and playability, but I love Korina....
Those Explorers are 10k from Gibson. I don't know if originals had the same tenon as the Les Pauls of the period , nor do I know if the reissue matches the original. A guitar like that deserves better info than your typical guitar salesman will be prepared to give......

I love Explorers and got a mahogany one. The korina ones, and the reissues of the korina ones are out of my price range though. Despite what I've read on forums, they're a comfortable and ergonomic guitar and hang balanced on a strap. This one weighs 7.5 lbs. Happy hunting.

For a price tag on 10k usd is certainly too much... but what its priced used over in japan seems legit.... !! About 7kusd right on a price of an R7...

Gotten mine and hell these are no joke !! Korina just seems to have more mids going...

Thats a nice piece !!! But with such a build in mind it should have the traditional multi laminated neck blank ... probably its just me ... but if it works for you who cares !!

Banker guitars seem to be one of the few builders who are licensing the shapes from Gibson. They're doing '58 spec Explorers and Vs for south of $5K:

I'm not a fan of the relic'd finish, but I imagine they'd do whatever you wanted.

I probably think Jimmy wallace guitar shop has a builder whom he build for Jimmy ? And their explorer are also worth checking it out... with the known era of Jimmy wallace working with Gibson during the 80s and 90s.... ?

I never got the Korina thing until I saw one in person and played one. Just such a stunning looking and sounding wood. And on an Explorer? 'Merica fuck yeah!

Korina, it is beautiful.
Never heard of banker guitars, they look pretty sweet
