I'm still giving it a few listens before rendering a final verdict but this is easily the tastiest track guitar wise on the record! Happy Friday y'all!

Cool track. I was actually just listening to Ian Fletcher Thornley's solo album today. His voice reminds me (somewhat) of Chris Cornell.

Cool, I did not even know this was out yet.
I like the legato licks in the middle, he's really good at that, but dosent do it much. Interesting lower gain setup for that song
Thanks man

Kind of interesting. Played like a tribute to several greats. Beck, Page and Satriani.

Always been a fan of Big Wreck, but so far this isn't my fav of theirs by a long shot (have whole album), but it's still cool of course. I also find if awfully yoko-ish he put his current gf on album on backing vox but didn't have other guitarist Brian or now departed 3rd guitarist Paulo on the album at all.

Great record. Not as heavy as some other stuff they have done but very good IMO. They never make the same record twice.

I'm a big Big Wreck fan, have been since 1997. But overall...this new album blows. A few good tracks that remind of their past but there's more lame tunes than good. Oh well.

I really dig it. The production is ridiculously good. It's definitely a headphones album for sure.

Is that his GF on Speedy Recovery? And the other guys didn't play any guitar at all on the album?

I was really looking forward to this album, but I just don't hear the songs I heard on the past albums. Playing and singing is great as usual, I just don't hear the songs. I love all the previous records, this one just isn't doing it for me.

meh too much bullshit in one song for me , the dudes can all play great voice but I prefer their more straightforward stuff...no one needs a 7+ minute song ever...

The new album is a little soft but still got some great songs. I'm going to see them in Detroit at the Shelter at the end of the month. Got the VIP meet and great package.

I've tried to listen to them. Not a fan and this "song" did nothing to change that. :aww:

Agreed, it's not hitting as hard as their previous releases. I'm headed to see them in New York the first weekend in March. Thought about doing the VIP, still might...it would be cool to talk with them.

Agree with everybody saying not aggressive Thornley on this one! But his tones are still amazing and its a moody kind of cool record. His voice is absolutely amazing on this one!!

Not sure which tracks she's on but I think so, and yes, he didn't let anyone else play on the record. But in truth, don't think he's let anyone else play on record since "pleasure and the greed" anyways.

I usually love Big Wreck and Thornley projects. But this album is not doing it. He's listening to too much Ed Sheeran and wearing fedoras.
