Drums were my first instrument and I’m still probably a better drummer than guitar player. My focus shifted to guitar after I got into songwriting. Now I play guitar almost everyday, but my drum chops have gone to shit. The upside is I never need to ask someone to program drum parts for my music.

Started on drums in jr high with a kid that was new to school and he was a great guitar player. Then guitar. Mom played piano, showed me desperado. So I guess, piano, drums guitar

Guitar is my wife
I don’t cheat
Hence why I hit so good
That includes life . I don’t have one

lol idk man. I spend all my time alone unless teacher . Everyone in my life moved out of this shit hole . You go nuts alone this much I swear
I’m only staying cause pops is alive
I’d take a hot wife again lol
Sure. But if you lived somewhere like here, a wife would only slow you down, bud

I took 2 years of piano in college as part of meeting the proficiency requirement of my degree. I think it's great for learning Independence, rhythm, dynamics. Being able to associate the patterns and intervals on the keyboard with what's on the written page. I'm probably better at reading piano music than I am guitar music. Back when I was giving guitar lessons and parents would talk to me about their kids wanting to learn, I usually steered them towards piano first. The ones who stick with it have a massive head start when they start to learn guitar.

I got to see how this goes for a year
If I’m not needed by my daughter then I’ll leave
Better brush up on your country chops. You'll need some caiman tail boots, a belt with a large buckle, a stetson, a couple western shirts, and some starch for creasing your wranglers. Learn some Blake Shelton and Florida-Georgia Line tunes=gig forever=$$$.

I don't believe in straining so it's been 3-4 hours a day for four or five days max otherwise it's too much hand usage and I start to feel it. I hope your arm heals up quick. Just go easy on it until it's feeling good again. It's good to take breaks when you are a practice rat anyways, if only to digest the things you've been working on. I'm to the point my best hour of the day is between 10 and 11pm so I try to play in them prime evening hours around then.

That's a ripping track. Chicken pickin and ripping to the max. I never try to copy nobody's licks 100% through cause I'm not them and I can def see injuring myself trying to mess with something like that, lol, no way ray. I learned a long time ago I got to be me.
