Anyone else like dead strings?

If you are looking for a smoother tone with your strings then I suggest you check out different brands. Really, it is that simple. Dead strings are a big no for me.

I can't get along with new EBSlinkys...

but Blue Steels and D'Addarios sound nice and last a while.

I do prefer strings a day or two in, after they are a little stretched, but not dead by any means. I like 'em bright and shiny.
