I had no stereo in my car for about 3 years straight (until recently), and most days I still don't use it. I also personally find that the more I listen to music, the less I'm writing my own stuff.

That's funny; I had a car without a radio myself for about 2 years when I went back to school in the mid '90s. And I practically lived in my car between driving to class and delivering pizza at night![]()
I did come up with some riffs and whatnot that later became songs for various bands which was interesting.

Mostly Comedy channel or talk radio. When I do click it on a station...just sounds bland to me lately.
Dont get me wrong.....I still love PLAYING music every weekend. And we play for several hours.
I just dont feel like listening it to it lately. Anyone else get in this "slump"?![]()
And I own over 1000 CD's....Tons of MP3's on flash drive I can listen in the car....Satellite radio..
I only listen to the Comedy station.![]()
When with the family driving to and Fro....I just play the local pop station for the kids but pay no attention to the songs.
Am I turning into my Father??![]()
