Anyone gonna check out Ola's new line of guitars?

Ola's a great guy and wish him all the best! Here's a cool video addressing a lot of the questions I'm reading in this thread.

I think he means that they’re not made at the Seymour Duncan USA shop, not offered under their Seymour Duncan brand, and they aren’t the Duncan Designed labeled import pickups that everyone hates?

If you watch the Cort guitar video, they say they manufacture their own pickups and design them to work with their guitars. Kind of the same thing Ola said about the Duncan Solar pickups. "He wanted a pickup made foe the guitars"

Bottom line, the Solar guitars are Indonesian made guitars with Indonesian pickups wound to the same specs as Duncan pickups. They seem to be priced accordingly.

These guitars are in the same vein as LTD, Jackson Pro, PRS SE, etc.

On his launch video he did say he wanted guitars for the everyday musicians, which usually are guys who are not able to afford the higher end gear.

Until someone actually gets one the jury will be out on the quality.
