Not sure how many people here use fender amps, but if you do what models do you use?

um....no.

ok, Steve .. you say no.. Now you need to let us know you rest of what youd like to say..

I had silverface fender super delux reverb with 4x10's that was beat to shit was given to me from a friend, I was into typical 1988 metal at the time and did not have the edge I was lookin for so i got rid of it for $100. It was the coolest amp, had a killer hiss to it while in standby (probably older style resistors and failing caps?) It really sounded vintage and the 4x10 speakers were so cool sounding. Loved it!

Also got rid of my origional tube screamer for $20

I have an old 68 bassman , I dont use it too much these days but I keep it around to use for either guitar or bass. It takes pedals well also and is built like a tank. ON another note, I have a Super champ xd that I keep at a buddies for practicing etc and I love it for that. Its really fun to fool around with and it actually gets some nice tones and the effects are cool. U cant beat it for an affordable lightweight mostly tube amp.

'65 Bassman + 2x12 was my rig for a corporate gig I did for 2 years. Collecting dust mostly these days, but I still fire it up once in a while. Great big thick cleans and takes pedals great!

Just built myself a blackface era Twin. It's the first "clean" amp I've ever owned, and I'm really happy to finally have something like it!

Hot Rod Deluxe.

Probably the best purchase I have ever made. I don't use the dirt channel, but the cleans are to die for. Takes pedals really well too.

I have a 1968 Deluxe Reverb. All the internals are dated from 1967. 100% original everything. I have a small pedalboard just for this amp and it is phenominal sounding. I love playing it but I hate taking it out anywhere because it is mint.

You avoid the OD channel completely or just use it once in a blue moon just to remind yourself its there? I gotta agree the OD channel def is something that hurts the amp overall, I wish they made it with only one channel.

marshallmel, awesome amp! sounds great

I disagree. The HRD has a great dirty channel. Maybe not for typical hard-rock and metal tones, but it works great for adding texture and grit.
