Anyone know how to do the Johnny Hiland Strat wiring?
It's a bit different:
Bridge
Bridge and Middle
Bridge and Neck
Middle
Neck
And that works a lot better for me.
As far as I know, it uses a 5-Way 2-Pole switch.
I'm gonna call Kiesel and see if they'll hook me up with a wiring diagram. But they might say no, so I need your help on this. I want to set up my Squier Strat that I'm overhauling the same as the Johnny Hiland wiring.
I saw a post from the guy who did the original wiring diagrams for Electric City Customs, but haven't heard back from him. (Electric City Customs isn't making those pickups anymore. I think the owner's health took a bad turn, so IIRC he gave the specs to Kiesel for Johnny Hiland's Signature pickups).
