Anyone know the difference between the Golub Crunch and Lead Mods?

I mean the Crunch is still gainy?

Think Green Day. That's the amount of gain. A little more than a stock 800.

The Lead Mod has a bit more gain. Most of it after 7 in unusable.

The crunch mod is 3 gain stages, the lead mod is 4. Listen to clips of the Custom Audio 3+SE preamp on youtube. Channel 2 is like a crunch mod, channel 3 is like a lead mod.
