It took me a while to bond with my classic T but now it is my favorite axe. It needed quite a bit of work on the setup side when I got it (couple of years ago so this is not a honeymoon thing). I suspect that is mostly because it traveled cross country in July to NC and I'm guessing it didn't like the temp and humidity changes on the way. Once I got it set up I was having trouble with it sounding out of tune. I thought it had an intonation problem or something but it checked out fine.
Turns out I was fretting too hard. The guitar actually plays so damn good I had to get used to it. None of my other guitars can touch it for playability and as for tone, the Suhr pickups are some of the best I've heard. Between the great pickups and tried and true ash/maple combo this guitar cuts the mix like a knife when I need that tone without being high output or sounding shrill
